School Districts

Alpha Media would like to partner with your school district to place advertising on your buses.  These ads will bring additional revenue to your district with no cost, risk or effort on your part.  Alpha Media will seek both local and national businesses as advertisers on your buses.  We will return a percentage of the monthly revenue to your school district.  This could amount to a windfall used to cover needed expenses like fuel, maintenance costs, salaries, supplies, travel, etc.

Alpha Media will take care of everything, including:

1. seeking local and national advertisers
2. creating and making the ads
3. installing and removing the ads
4. billing advertisers
5. providing your district with additional funding
   

Your investment: NONE.

Alpha Media’s primary concern is to make this process as seamless and profitable as possible for your district.

Alpha Media is very concerned about the types of businesses represented on our ads and will work closely with your district to ensure that only ads deemed appropriate for the general population appear on your buses.  Alpha Media will never allow ads that are provocative or offensive.

Our ads do not compromise the safety of the bus or prevent it from being seen and recognized.  Ads have been placed on school buses for several years across the nation.  There is no evidence indicating that these ads contribute to a situation that would jeopardize the safety of the passengers onboard.  We never forget the passengers on these buses and hold their safety as a paramount concern. 

These ads are made of durable adhesive-back vinyl that adheres to the buses: similar to a bumper sticker.  The adhesive-backing will not damage the bus surface.  When the ads are removed, the surface of your bus will look the same as before the ads were attached.

Advertising has been done in schools for years. Businesses advertise on the fences of the baseball fields, on ticket stubs to games, on scoreboards, in the classrooms through ChannelOne, on book-covers, and many other places in and around the schools. School bus advertising is purely another form of a pre-existing way to raise much needed money for schools and to better the education of its students. School bus advertising is much more profitable than any other form of fundraising in which schools participate.

School bus advertising is a simple way to help offset rising costs with no risk, cost or effort on the part of your school system.

Texas Laws

Texas law states that school bus advertising is allowed on the following areas of the buses:

• (1)the left rear quarter-panel of the school bus, beginning at least three inches behind the rear wheel and not closer than four inches from the lower edge of the window line; and
• (2)above the windows on the right and left sides of the school bus, near the rear of the vehicle, not to extend forward of the rear axle.

The ad on the left side below the windows can be a maximum of 30 inches by 90 inches (2.5 feet by 7.5 feet). The ads above the windows on the right and left sides of the bus above the windows can be a maximum of 18 inches by 108 inches (1.5 feet by 9 feet). Each bus is allowed three total ads on it.
